RED OXIDE PRIMER

DESCRIPTION: Air-drying type modified alkyd resin based primer with red oxide as rust inhibitor
USE: Protective primer for both interior and exterior use. Suitable for prepared ferrous surfaces

APPLICATION DATA:

• Application method: Air spray, brush or roller
• Thinner: Paint thinner 5100 or 5101
• Thinning ratio:Air spray not more than 20% by weight. If brush or roller not more than 15% by weight
• Spreading rate: 7-8m2/kg/coat
• Dry film thichness: 35 microns/coat
• Drying time: Touch dry: 2 hours at 30 ∙C
• Hard dry: 6 hours at 30 ∙C
• Overcoating interval: min 8 hours

PAINTING SPECIFICATION:

• Surface preparation: Remove all loose paint,oil, grease and any other foreign matters before coating. If necessary, prepared by sanding or abrasive to establish a smooth clean surface.
• Primer: 1 coat of Red oxide primer
• Topcoat: 1-2 coats of Gloss Alkyd Enamel
